We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect that will embed the vision of EA function, and create strategies and road-maps for business, data, applications, and technology by consulting and supporting collaboration across the business, understanding the organisation’s ecosystem, its interdependencies and constraints.
You will be joining the enterprise architecture function within CCS, which is part of the wider design and products team (of circa 20 permanent team members) which plays a critical role in the designing the strategic future state of the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Guiding, developing, and governing the CCS Enterprise Architecture function to support the organisation’s long-term strategy and future state architecture
- Shaping relationships between organisational structures, processes, technology, and people, both within and outside the enterprise, to transition to the new state
- Ensuring alignment of technical governance with broader governance, mitigating risks and assuring corporate services
- Understanding and anticipating business impacts, issues, and activities, shaping principles, patterns, standards, and policies accordingly
- Implementing the vision for business and digital capabilities using various architecture tools and collaboration tools used in CCS.
- Driving the creation of transition plans, roadmaps, and strategic solutions that prioritise outcomes.
- Offering strategic insights for business and technical strategies, crafting solutions for high-level challenges
- Fostering connections with senior stakeholders, actively seeking improvement opportunities and best practices
- Staying attuned to emerging technologies and external influences while inspiring other architects toward organisational goals.
- Designing and embed secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise architectures aligned with CCS’s regulatory requirements and strategic goals.
- Identifying risks, ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., GDPR), and implement resilient systems supporting business continuity.
- Partnering with stakeholders to align security with business needs, drive innovation, and continuously enhance architectural frameworks
