Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer who will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing automated tests, ranging from simple to complex, while ensuring adherence to organisational standards. The successful candidate will lead test automation initiatives, guiding the team in best practices and producing essential test strategies, plans, scripts, and reports. In this collaborative environment, the engineer will work closely with project stakeholders to prioritise defects, create and adjust processes tailored to project needs, and leverage their expertise to enhance overall testing efficiency.Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven manual and automation testing experience
- Proficiency in .Net, TS/JS, Playwright, Selenium, Gherkin, SQL, Postman
- Experience with NUnit/XUnit, TypeScript, Angular, BDD/TDD, CI/CD, DevOps, Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Playwright, Stryker, PACT, K6, A11y/Axe
- Knowledge of WPF Desktop Apps, GraphQL, Docker, Azure
- Non-functional testing experience (performance, security, load)
- Azure DevOps proficiency
