Senior IT Project Manager - Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, Delivery

Contract - 3 months

London - 2 days per week onsite.

£650 - £750 per day (inside IR35)

Our customer is currently reviewing their Disaster Recovery capability in line with their move to cloud services and the decommissioning of old legacy platforms. They are now post-discovery and are looking to develop a realistic delivery plan. To achieve this they are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with experience working on Disaster Recovery projects, who can work with IT SME's and Business Change to deliver this project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project and/or sprint meetings to ensure projects are tracking to plan, including regular status reporting in the Programme Manager and Delivery Board.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and SME's obtaining buy-in to project work.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the project team to ensure a common understanding of the project, roles and responsibilities, tasks, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure specification artefacts are accepted and signed off by the management team.
• Manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience delivering Disaster Recovery projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects, including infrastructure and technical cloud projects.
• Experience in leading projects with a variety of methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Experience in matrix managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and technical cloud projects
