DevOps Engineer - Python, Django, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

£60000 - £70000 per annum
We are supporting a customer in their search for a DevOps Engineer to play a vital role in providing technical development support for all their systems and infrastructure within the IT estate. There will be a focus on ensuring systems and applications' reliability, scalability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and management using tools such a Terraform or Chef.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions.
- Optimise cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar.
- Knowledge of infrastructure standards and practices related to AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Experience in Python programming in the Django framework.
- Understanding of scrum practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform and Chef.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
